I know that I can burn the video to DVD disc, except that my computer is not powerful enough for long videos, and I keep getting a message to say that the memory is low. My computer is 32 bit with 4 GB of RAM. I have Windows 7. I understand that I need to upgrade to 64 bit with at least 6 GB.
Failing that, would it be possible for me to share the video with another computer, a more powerful one which also has PD installed?
I know that I can share the raw footage files with this other computer, for instance by using Google Drive. I could then use its PD to make a video again. But that would be very time-consuming, and I have already made the video.
What I want, then, is to be able to share the video, not the raw footage, so that the video can be burned to DVD disc on this other computer.
According to my PD 9 manual, I can use the 'produce' function, not just to upload the video to Facebook or You Tube but also to make a video file if I want to share the video with friends. Would that give me what I want?
Anyway, I have gone into the PD 'produce' room and followed the instructions. The display tells me that the file is being made, and then that the process has been completed. But I can't find the file and I don't know what I'm looking for or where to look.
Can anyone help? I'd be grateful for any advice.
