PowerDVD trial issue with Bluray playback

I'm trying to test out PowerDVD 13 using the trial but I keep getting an error tell me Blu-ray playback in the trial version is limited to PCs with hardware acceleration. I have an GeForce GTX 280 which supports hardware acceleration and PowerDVD is set to use hardware acceleration so I'm not sure what the problem is here

Hi buddy, any progress to this so far? Are you using a 32 or 64 bit OS by any chance.

64bit Windows 8. It's only happening with H264 blurays.

I very rarely get blurays to play off the disk without anydvdhd running in the background.

I have the issue with BDMV folders on my hard drive, store bought Bluray discs and burnt bluray discs that are H264.
