Media Suite 8--rikvm is it a virus ?

I recently used Norton's to remove rikvm_38f51d56.sys.

While searching on the internet for this item, it was listed as part of CyberLink software. Some of them said it was a false positive in Norton's.

Is it a virus, or if not how do I reinstall it? My restore point was corrupted !

Hi,
to reinstall you need the MediaSuite from either the installation media (CD/DVD) or from the downloaded installer you received when buying the software.

Definitely not a virus. But have you reinsstalled already? Make sure to uninstall PDVD first by the way.
