Dialogue that is way way quiet...

While using PowerDVD 12 or 13 (I updated to 13 to hopefully solve this problem) the music and such on my DVD's seems fine, but the dialogue in the movies is very quiet. I'm having to set the volume on my computer to 100% and still I have a great deal of trouble hearing the movie.

I am using a headset to listen.

Once I get out of PowerDVD the sounds scream at me and nearly blow the top of my head off and I have to lower the volume down to about 50%

Somewhere in PowerDVD I'm losing a great deal of the audio from my movies!

On DVDs mastered with surround sound most dialogue outputs through the center channel. If your settings are set to a surround sound mode and you are using headphones then you have no center channel so you will not hear the dialogue properly.

Try setting the output mode to either 2 speaker or headphone mode in the audio settings menu of PowerDVD.

I have it set on headphone and have tried 2 speaker, no change.
