Extra note: My PowerDirector has had troubles in the past which fixed them self just as randomly as they occur... (YAY! -_
1.) I have the latest patch installed: 10.0.0.2231
2.) I have the latest graphics card Drivers from Intel
3.) I have more than enough space on my HDD
4.) I am logged in as Admin.
5.) I have Reinstalled Quicktime and PowerDirector.
6.) I am using windows 8 and you guide on finding the logs is outdated.

8.) Can you convert the .avi? No, Windows Movie Maker (Live) Doesn't work and these other converters take too long to even do anything.
9.) Have you tried compatibility mode? Yes. No luck.
10.) Firewall? Comodo in game mode (Means it won't interfere)

11.) This .avi is a Fraps output. It use to work fine.
12.) Yes .mp4's work fine... Just another .avi issue.
