separate preview window for each video track

Is there a way to display video track A and video track B in separate windows? I don't think PowerDirector is architected this way but I thought I'd ask. (This would of course be helpful when handling multiple camera footage.)

Thanks! Charlie in LA

The only way to display separate video tracks is to resize each track to fit in a part of the preview Window.

An example

If you go to the top of that page you can read the whole story.

Hi Charlie -

You're right. PD can't display different track in separate windows.

Aside from the resizing idea Carl mentioned, you can easily disable tracks (temporarily) in order to view particular tracks on their own - just uncheck the box beside the padlock.

That may not help much with your multi camera editing.

Cheers - Tony

I use Carls method - and I have to say it works fine for me (I have a two monitor set up) so can see quite clearly whats going on

given the 26 inch monster I use for a second screen I can easily display 9 tracks Chris Tayler

Carl and Tony: That's so simple! Thanks for pointing me to the simple solution. And Chris, it looks like I'd better pick up that second 26" monitor after all.

Thanks guys!
