Hi,

I'd like to put a PD project file (a pds file) into a powerpoint 2010 slideshow. Each time I try to insert it I get an error saying that the required codec is missing.

Powerpoint does not seem to recognise a PDS file as a video file. I have to 'show all files' to see it in the list.

Do i have to convert the PDS file to another format? I can't use the original viedo file because the video was taken in a dark room and needed some work in PD9 to enable it to be seen clearly.

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to do this and if so where I can get the required codec from.

Thanks Al Al

The Powerdirector PDS file is not the videos. It is instructions to Powerdirector how to carry out the editing tasks you have done.

You must Produce a video in a standard video format to be able to use.
Click the PRODUCE tab at the top of the powerdirector user interface. Choose a video output format that fits your use.
