Hi All,

My first post here as I have only recently bought the PowerDVD software. I have a couple of questions to ask, and I am not sure if this is the right place. If it isn't then my apologies and can you direct me to the first place to ask them.

I bought PowerDVD Pro 12 on 24/2/12. Now v 13 has come out and as you can guess - I am a disappointed that I am already on the old version. Do Cyberlink do anything for people who bought the software just before a new version comes out ? If so who do I contact ?

In addition, the upgrade options are about as clear as mud. On my members page it says "Your products are the latest version. No need to update now."

However, on my registered products page, when you click the update button for PowerDVD 12 Pro software it tells me that the upgrade is from 11/12 standard and costs £ 44.99. Well first of all I don't have 'Standard, and since Pro only costs £ 49.99 - I think it's a bit rich to ask for £ 44.99 to upgrade something that's only just a month old.

Any help you can give would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Mike.

You can stick to PDVD 12 if you wish so, the previous versions keeps getting upgrades and patches just like the latest version. My collection: http://www.blu-ray.com/community/collection.php?u=194008&action=showcategory&category=1&categoryid=7

Mikeybabes,
Since this is largely a peer-to-peer forum, I would think your best option would be to contact Cyberlink Customer Support directly and ask what they can do for you. There are links at the bottom of the main Cyberlink web page.
