Hi,
I posted that there was a new Nvidia Geforce driver 314.22 available, PowerDirector and PowerDVD 12 don't like the driver on my system.
So beware.

Hi,
Ok maybe just my system...I had installed it a few days ago and PowerDVD12 refused to open, and PD11 would close...periodically...so re-installed the previous Nvidia 314.?? and all fine..weird...
Thanks for feedback.

Had the same issues after installing 314.22 PD11 would crash straight after opening. Installed the latest PD updates but didn't help. reinstalled 314.07 and all good again. Couldn't believe it so then did another install of 314.22 but with the option advanced and 'clean install'.

seems to work ok now, 314.22 and PD

cheers

I don't usually report on display driver posts.

I had 3 failures to install this particular driver on a W8Pro set up. The Custom route x2 with different options selected. The Express route with a similar failure. My dual monitor set up reverted to a single one. A clean install worked. There is a lesson there somewhere ha ha.

I've yet to install this driver on an older computer running W7.
