I know, this is very fundamental, but... I can't seem to figure out how to splice two clips together. There's a tab for trimming, but none for splicing, and since "splicing", "joining", or any other term I can think of is not in the user manual index, and I can't find any solutions via google...

How can I splice video clips?

Well, I think I stumbled on an answer.

When the transitions are inserted, and both/all video segments are highlighted, the video will play, with transitions, as planned.
