Audio/Video not in sync for preview

Whenever I play a project back to preview and see what needs more work, if I start from just about anywhere in the middle, the added audio track and the captured video aren't in sync to what I made them. But when I play from the beginning, every thing's fine.
This is a problem for 3 minute + videos where having everything in sync is key.

What version is your PowerDirector?

Hardware configuration?

Have you tried service?

I'm running Power Director 6 that came with my computer on Vista. I had a similar problem with Windows movie maker. It seems that it doesn't like me to start the video in the middle, but this only happens on preview, not finished product.

Hi Michael

Check your timeline and see if you have added a color board or inserted
an image at the beginning before you inserted the clip to the time line.
Removing the color board etc resets the time line.

This has been my experience.
