I find that I often use this great feature in PD11 on jpg's to adjust the lighting ... is the default setting 38 or is this something I may have 'tweaked' during my early practice?

In other good picture editing programmes, sharpening adjustments are made to lossy jpg's at various stages ... in PD is it normal practice to Apply Refocus after adjustment and is there a level that would be regarded as 'default' ... assuming the original unedited jpg was in focus?
