Hi all
I'm back. After all the problems I've had trying to get PDr11 to work properley have decided to go back to PDr9 for the time being. It least it worked couldn't fault it that was until I updated to Build 3305. Now got problems

1) Won't detect scenes
2) Playback preview keeps hesitating/jerky
3) Audio stutter.
Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Whisper

I also had problems with build 3305. In my case for some reason the field order was reversed when producing the projects. I uninstalled, including cleaning out the registry entries, then did a clean install from the CD. That fixed the problems and I haven't tampered with the installation since. Regards,
Mike

This is sad. I could never run the final release of v9. Now the one that ran stopped I believe from a graphics driver update. Good software would be immune. I considered upgrading but with you downgrading from v11 I may just go mainstream with adobe or someone. My time is worth more than a few $100... Canon HFM301 (+wide angle lens)

Hi Carl,
Video drivers/graphic cards play a crucial role for video editing as does operating systems, all have changed since the release of PowerDirector 9 and CyberLink has also released 2 versions since. Try out PDR11 - I like it, then I'm "biased" a little

Yes I know. That is why I suspect driver incompatibility. Though drivers are supposed to be backward compatible I guess there is only so much you can do. Especially since windows itself changed.

I'll probably give it a go since there is a free trial version. Canon HFM301 (+wide angle lens)
