The very best file type to upload is flv. (flash)
Any file you wish to place on Youtube, or any well-known site, should be converted to flv.
This is easy, even if you're new to it.

It loads faster and has excellent quality.

So, what I should do is save it to my hard drive then convert it to a FLV?

Because, If I save it on my hard drive as an avi or anything like that and upload it, youtube says it is too large, and isn't a flv larger?

Save it to your HD, any file type. Use one of the converters, don't forget, Youtube only displays 4:3. If your file is 16:9, you must render it into a 4:3 screen first.
Then convert. Don't be discouraged, do it 1 or 2 times and you'll see how easy. Look at the tutorial on SMWoV.
Flash is much smaller file size.

I gave it a try, I don't see a quality difference, so if there is one, its very little.. However i did avoid the choppy and blocky stuff that comes along during some clips, I'll do the next one like this too, and if it avoids it then I'll be satisfied enough. lol

I too got frustrated with the video quality of YouTube. I would make this great looking video in PowerDirector, and then when I uploaded to YouTube, it looked like something I shot with a camera phone.

This year, I started using SeeMyWorldOnVideo.com for uploading and sharing videos. I was able to get much better video quality, and maintain the 16 x 9 aspect ratio.

I was even able to upload a video in HD quality:

Hmm, see that is fantastic quality, the only thing is I am mainly doing these videos from an advertisement perspective, thus why I am using the mainstream youtube. I wonder If I were to upload it there, download that file and then reupload it to youtube if it would help... Of course I'm too lazy to try that

Trust me, a properly executed conversion to flv will cure all your quality issues, unless of course you start with garbage in the first place.
Keep the audio bitrate down, no one can tell the difference.
Use 15 fps. You can go higher, experiment a little.
Try to keep the video bitrate to around 600. You may go higher, but it will affect the loading rate for viewers. I actually try several settings before I am happy with the result. I never upload my first render/conversion.
