Hi all
Sorry if this looks a bit long. I have been using PDr 9 Ultra since release date with no problems at all, liked it so much that
when I bought myself a new pc thought I would get latest version PDr 11 Ultra. Then my troubles started, everything was slow.
To do a very simple test I reinstalled PDr9 onto new pc so now have both versions.

1 started PR9
2 Imported 17min standard definition clip into media room
3 Dragged clip to timeline
4 clicked on title room tab to open title room
5 Went back to media room
6 clicked on chapter room tab
Every command was done in a instant

I then closed PDr 9 restarted pc and started PDr11 and done exactly the same test as above. Everything takes between 10 and 30 secs I don't know what would happen if I tried to actually edit anything.

PDr 9 is a retail boxed version
PDr11 is a upgrade downloaded version
Do anyone have any ideas why PDr 11 is running slow. Would be grateful for any help/suggestions
Regards
Whisper

Hi Carl
Have reinstalled 2 or 3 times each time using cleaner tool after uninstalling
Have version 11.0.0-2516
serial no 130107-01
I have a very slow internet connection, 2 and a half to 3 hours to download.
Wonder if the problem lies there.
Have ordered back up cd to see if it will install and run better from that.
Thanks

Well I feel for you on a slow internet connection. May not be your internet connection, Cyberlink is often slow on their downloads.

Once you have it downloaded, have you saved the download on your computer or burned a DVD of the downloads?

I hope the CD/DVD is better for you. There have been reports of bad Disks that do not install.
