You haven't given much information to go on. Your camera records at 23.976fps - you put a clip in PD & produced it - & it's shocking?

In the Produce module, what format & profile did you select?

I just used a sample .MOV clip from a Nikon D7000, 1920x1080 @ 19.5MBps recorded at 23.976fps & produced it to:
1. MOV 1920x1080 @ 19.5MBps 23.976fps
2. MPEG-4 1920x1080 @ 20MBps 23.976fps
3. AVC H.264 1920x1080 @ 20MBps 23.976fps

... and the results were each "as good" as the original clip.

If you've lowered the bitrate or resolution you'd expect to see some loss of quality.

Unless you post how you resolved the problem, you won't get any more help on future problems you might have. Gateway DX4380, AMD A8-5500 Quad Core 3.2GHz with ATI Radeon HD 7560D; 16GB RAM; 1 TB SATA 7200 RPM; Windows 8 Pro 64-bit; PDR11, PDVD12.
