I just bought PD 11, and then I see several sources say that H.264 is the best format to use for Youtube now.

But I did not find any way to Produce in that setting.

I was surprised when my first video was rejected by Youtube, because it was m2ts.

So now I am trying a custom setting for MP2.

Someone suggested to drop the target bit rate and max bit rate way down to 11-17. I assume that meant 11000, since 13000 was the lowest choice.

That seemed to work very well.

BUT my closing credits lost their character preset. I went with the default from the trial version, which was Courier New, but made to look sort of worn down pixelated.

The finished video was very clean font.

Anyway, I am more curious about the H.264. And if that is not available, what would be the best choice for Youtube?

Thanks

I personally like MP4, which uses H.264 for the HD profiles. Never had a problem with YouTube. __________________________________
