Voice Over Isn't Activated ... How Do I activate it???

I have recently download PD 11 and everything appears to be working well.

I want to add a voice over to some video however, but the "Voice Over" icon is the only one on the left hand side that is not activated. When I click on it, nothing happens.

Would appreciate someone advising me how to activate it so I can record a voice over.

Thank you!

I don't Barry - do I need to plug it in first?

I am assuming now from your response that I need to plug it in before CD will recognize I want to do a VO.

Thanks

As above, what audio capture device do you have plugged in? Does Windows device manager recognizeit?

This is a three year old thread.

One question, do you have anything in the timeline when you go to the voice over room.

There must be something on Track 1 (image or video) for Voice over to be active. Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.
