You have posted a lot of stuff. Unfortunately I can't read most of it.

In event logs, do you see any failed events in Applications? What do they say?

Have you double checked anything other than the software? Is you internet maintaining connection? Make sure that your firewall is letting the connection both ways. try turning off your anti virus just for the time you need to watch the videos.

I've run out of ideas so maybe someone else has a few.

Actually. yesterday I had a worse problem. It would not play any video before it crashed including some of the ones I posted on you tube.

This happened once before but I'm not sure what is causing it. I was able to repair the install (reinstall) the program the last time and got everything back. .

I tried re-installing the program. Installed the blu ray suite that came with my blu-ray player, Installed PowerDVD 10 Ultra Upgrade (both activated correctly) and installed PowerDVD 12 and activated it.

Program opened, I selected to view on-line media, YouTube, and selected on of my own videos (not restrictions), the wait icon showed up and rotated for several seconds and then the crash report pop up. Submitted that.

Any ideas on why this happerns (periodically) 3 times in the last couple of months, Usually the install process I used above cured it. Not this time ! .

A "fix" is on the way. It has been for a couple of months. .
