I have PowerDVD 12 Ultra installed on my Windows 8 Pro 64 PC and everything works as it should apart from the Win 8 Modern UI (Metro) app - PowerDVD for Mobile
When I input the activation code that is supplied with PDVD 12 Ultra it says activation not successful. It's a shame as I've seen the look of it and it looks like it would suit browsing my films on the TV screen a bit easier than the desktop version.
Is Power DVD for mobile Win 8 version included with Ultra? Asus P8Z68 V-Pro Gen 3, Intel i5 2500K @4.5GHz, Thermalright Silver Arrow, 8GB Corsair Vengeance LP, EVGA GTX 670 FTW Signature 2, Corsair Force GT 120GB SSD, 4X Samsung F3 HDD, Samsung Blu ray, Antec DF-85

Hi,
you should have received the activation key with your purchase, the Activation key within PowerDVD 12 is for the Android / iOS Version only.

Thanks for the reply Michael.

I've checked my order confirmation email and there is no key supplied for PowerDVD Mobile.
I have included a pic of it with other CD keys greyed out.

Hi,
you purchased before PowerDVD Mobile for Windows 8 was released, so your purchase of PowerDVD 12 is not qualified for Free PowerDVD Mobile on Windows 8.

Ah, OK. So I have PowerDVD Mobile, just not allowed to use it on my OS, That's just great.

Just another reason to add to the list of why I'll not be updating to any newer versions of Cyberlink products. Like many others who get shafted by this company I will be looking elsewhere.
