Hello PD forum members.

Why are my title graphics disappearing? When my project opens up, and media is imported, a message pops up saying a certain graphic cannot be located. Well where did it go? I didn't do anything with it! This is the second time this has happened. Where is the folder for the graphics in the titles located (Win 7 64bit)? I appreciate the help. This is frustrating

Hi there,

So - in Title Designer, you added an image... saved the project... closed PD... and when you re-opened the project the picture was missing - yes?

The only way that's likely to happen is if you:
a. move the picture to another location
b. rename it
c. disconnect whatever device it is stored on

Importing into Title Designer is similar to all media imports in PD, but doesn't place the image in the Media Library.

If you got the alert (attached), you should browse to locate the image for PD.

Cheers - Tony

The image is one that's already there - as part of the title templates.

Ah - I see - that's completely different! Which template is it?

LowerThird01_01. It's part of the sports templates. It is there but I have to delete what I have and recreate the title with the template again. Weird right?

Yes - that's very odd, since the graphic elements of that template have been pre-combined as a single particle effect.

On my PD11, when I use that template - save - close PD & re-open, everything is there just as I left it.

It may be worth checking when you go to Modify > Title Designer to make sure that the Animation is set to run for the whole duration of the title.

Cheers - Tony
