I was trying to put the source photos of a project on the same disc as the project. I know it can be done, but when I tick the back-up photo, it doesn't ask me which photos. How do I choose the folder or pictures I want? I am opting for the slideshow as a backup, but it's not really what I wanted.

Hi Barry,

I tend to make the slide show in PD - created to a folder as a DVD etc etc.

I then locate the images I want to place on the disc as a back up and group them into a folder.

I Open P2G and place the Video_Ts and the Audio_TS into the disc AND I place another folder with the images.

I tend to select "Data Disc" to bundle everything on.

I think I might have not answered the P2G make it info... just thought I'd say what I do as you have PD as well.

Dafydd.

What does one have to do to get a word in edgeways here?

I had just worked out what Barry needs to do, and this time you beat me to it,

Sort it out between yourselves, see if I care

Robert

Hey Jents,
Will this data disc you propose play in a dvd player?
My intention is to have a PD6 movie (2 chapters) which will play in a standalone dvd player, and also back-up the source photos.
I now think this is not possible.
D-Mon?
R-R-R-R-Robert?
Do I need new software?

G'day Barry.

From one OLD Gent to another ( Idid read your PM)

Now, HE's not on line so I can get in

Update your Power2Go6 to version 1314

I copy movies to disc using data disk and they do play in my DVD players, although you would need to check that the format is compatable

Regards

I did as told, and must now test it in a player, on a tv. I'm not near one right now, but it seemed ok in VLC player.
This is EXACTLY what I wanted to accomplish, hope it works.
