If you are getting good performance with the 306 drivers, why do you feel you need to update to the latest. Did you read the release notes for the driver and was there anything that fixed an issue you had? Many of the new drivers are released for games to play better but may not have any positive impact for video editing.

Other people have complained about the 310 drivers with this and other video editing software.

Please post part 'B" so we can see what you really have.

Hello stevek
I remove the 310-70 driver and use now the 306 driver .
Do you think it is always useful to give you the dx diag file txt ? Best regards

Did you try to slow down your burn speed to see if it would at least burn at a lower speed? __________________________________________

Please find here the DXDIAG files .
Regards

Some feed back of the burning tests with the 2 drivers .
With the last driver 306-97, burning is well . I have noticed in the window of PD11 , "video codec material " is grey and not activate .
With the new driver 310 -10 , burning is not possible . The letter box " video material codec " has been replaced by " Intel Quick Sync Video " . Activate or not , the burning is not possible .
Why I dont' have the same indication ?
See the images .
regards
Michel

Same exact thing happened to me.

I installed a new nVidia video card, a GTX670 and put the current drivers on (310.10 - US English Version). Backed off to V306.97 and all was well.

Will submit support ticket for this.

I notice you are using Intel Quick Sync...this might be your problem.

I have one PC with this also and I tried an experiment with the old Nvidia drivers and the new and the video file burned ok both times,

However when I upgraded to the 310 driver PD11 would not start if I had Quick Sync enabled ! If I turned it off PD11 would start. There is an upgrade to the Lucidlogix MVP application which is used in this case. which is here http://www.lucidlogix.com/driverdownloads-mvp.shtml

I installed this update and everything then worked as before !!

Also a note...when you change the MVP options in the Virtu MVP Control Panel you have to stop PD11 and restart otherwise it won't recognise the difference.

Let us know how you get on,,, Intel Core i7 3770K 3.6 Ghz,
GTX 680, 2 X Benq23 3D monitors,
6G DDR3, Win 7 64, Win 10 (Insider) 64
PCIE SSD, Intel Sata SSD 2 500 Gbyte Seagate,
Minoru 3D WebCam, NVIDIA 3D Vision-Ready

Thank kingsmeadow for your experience and feed back tests .
I used also Lucidlogix application to control the GC . It is not the same Virtu MVP Control Panel as you .
When I check mine to update , I have the last version .
In comparison to the drivers suggested in the web link , the name of files aren't correspond to mine .
What do you think about ?

Interesting that your MVP control is quite different. Mine came with the Asus M'board DVD and I initially installed it from there and subsequently from Logix site. Your version is quite different..Where do you go to get the download ?

My M'board is a P8Z77 WS and it uses the MVP version of that software. My guess is that with the new Nvidia driver you will need an updated Virtu driver. I ran into this problem originally when I was trying to get MVP and PD11 working in Win8 and I couldn't until they updated the MVP drivers. Which they did and now all is ok.

That's my guess !! Intel Core i7 3770K 3.6 Ghz,

I also have Virtu, but am using an Intel DZ68BC MB.

(clickable thumbnail)

Virtu enable or disabled did not seem to make a difference.

Looks like the MVP version of Virtu needs the Ivy Bridge chipset or newer.

Hi
I tested yesterday the new Nvidia driver 310-90 and the result is the same : I can't always burn and even create the folder . Same error message . I have ununstalled the driver and come back to the previous .
I would like to know why I can't burn with PD11 , while other softwares are ok ( Avid Studio , Pinnacle Studio 14 ) .
Is it possible to obtain from moderator a serious explanation ?
Michel Best regards

Hi
I tried yesterday the new Nvidia driver 310-90 and the result is the same : I can't burn the disc and even create , same error message .
I would like to know the reason of that?
I precise that I burn without problem with other video softwares as Avid Studio , Pinnacle Studio 14 .
I do continue because I do appreciate PD11 . . I come back to the previous driver .
Do the moderator have a good explanation ?

this is a real puzzle Michel and we would like to know the answer, perhaps some others will join in and help resolve this issue.

I also installed the new driver yesterday and sure enough PD11 would not even start ! I stopped my MVP helper for Quick Sync and then it would start. I then re-installed the MVP helper and all was again ok. So it seems for me at least, everytime I install and new Nvidia driver I will have to re-install MVP helper. Whether this is any help to you I do not know. Intel Core i7 3770K 3.6 Ghz,
