Video files are 16-235 levels

Once added to the timeline in pd10 and pd11 the image is blown in highlights and blacks crushed as I suspect the editor is converting the 16-235 to full 0-255 rgb levels? Anybody have similar problem with files going dark or bright when added to timeline?

Then, they should have a fix, its been a problem for a while by the looks of things, not good enough really.
