I am importing an AVI file into PD 10 for the purpose of the editing and adding narration. The narration clips rather small, approximately with 20 seconds each on average and I have a whole string of them filling up 15 minute length videos. I'm having a constant problem with the narration drifting off of the video in respect to synchronization of these clips. (I'm using PD's Voice Over Recording Room.) When I attempt to match up the audio and video and start at the beginning and go to the end, when I go back to the beginning, the beginning is off again, and so it is a never ending process that never gets resolved.
I'm not doing anything complicated here, so I don't know why I should be having a synchronization problem. It's almost a though PD does not have the ability to lock the audio to the video in any kind of stable manner. I've read a few of the posts regarding synchronization problems others have had, but they were always doing more complicated things.

I have absolutely no idea how to correct this problem, so any help given would be much appreciated.

Thanks, John

There is a possibility that your computer just can not keep up with displaying the video and recording a sound track so they get out of sync.
