The video totorial below uses the "crop image editor" but I don't seem to have that button in my version of PD 10.

That's very strange ... is yours a trial version?
Obviously you know where to look for Crop Image from the video you watched ... see my attachment
Maybe one of our experts knows the answer.

The crop tool is in Power Tools.

Select the video you want to crop, click Power Tools. Crop tool is the second one in the list on Left.

Not the one I'm talking about.

Look at the video I linked. It talks about a crop tool button.

Hello Gary,
that's weird.
1>Image in library.
2>Drag image into any timeline.
3>"Crop" appears.
So...if crop does not appear, there IS an issue.
Note that "Crop" is for images, "Power Crop" (found in Power Tools) is for video, but I think you are up to speed on that.
Gary...just to add info to this, could you click on the word POWERDIRECTOR in your UI and tell us what the version/build of PD is? I can't imagine CL not including CROP IMAGE, even in a trial. Maybe we can narrow this down though before you re-install, or just plain quit.

"Note that "Crop" is for images, "Power Crop" (found in Power Tools) is for video,"

Oh, that explains it.
