Can transitions be applied to subtitles?

I would like to have a subtitle fade in and out with a photo; is there any way to do this? So far, I have not been able to find a way. The photo will fade in just fine but the subtitle does not; it just does a cut in and a cut out.

Thanks in advance!

Greg:

To my knowledge, subtitles in the subtitle room can't have transition (fade effects) added to them.

What you could do is make a custom title, in the Title Room, position it where subtitles are located, and then apply fade effects to that title.

Hope this helps. Have a great day.
