PowerDVD Ultra 12 Remote App Volume control Not Working

Hi

I have Powerdvd 12 Ultra along with the Cyberlink Powerdvd remote free app on my Galaxy Ace Plus.
The remote app connects fine and most of the features work - however the volume + - and mute buttons fail to work.

I am currently using SPDIF out to a Sony DAV-S400 for audio. OS is Windows 8 Pro

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Hi,
when using S/PDIF to output bitstream to Amplifier (which is doing the decoding) the volume control cannot work by design.

Bitstream output passes unaltered info to the external device
