I've been trying to use the rotation facility to correct a slight inaccuracy in the horizon in a recent project. The trouble I've found is that the rotation snaps to the normal position so it's proving impossible to introduce a small (1- to 2-degree) correction. Does anyone know if it's possible to turn the 'snap' off? Regards,

You can turn off the snap to reference.

It is a icon under the preview player. In PD9 it is 3 tiny squares and a circle, the squares are white.

Unfortunately the Snap To Reference doesn't have any effect on the video frame rotation. Well, not in my version of PD9 anyway. In fact there is no mention of the video frame rotation feature anywhere in the manual. All the Snap To Reference information seems to relate only to particle objects, title effects and PiP effects.

This shows the minimum degree of rotation from horizontal that I can achieve :-

You can rotate the video 1 degree in Powerdirector 9 in the PIP Designer.

I would say it is both.

There are some very knowledgeable people in here.

Powerdirector has some surprises when you start looking.
PD 11 is full of all kinds of new things.

Is there a list of changes/new features? Maybe a list on each release, such as between 8 & 9? 3 or more with 11?
I have developed solutions that"new features" unpromoted or listed do better and more importantly easier.

Only with admin knowledge here does it come to light.
