Doesn't support HDCP on secondary monitor

PowerDVD 10 (OEM via blueray drive purchase) as well as the BD & 3D Advisor don't seem to see my 60" LG Plasma (60PV450) as supporting HDCP (Connected to a Radeon HD5750 via hdmi).

That monitor is connected a secondary monitor as the PC doubles as a HTPC, but is more generally used with a 24" LG LCD.

Now, I've tried setting it to have the plasma be activated. doesn't make a difference.

However, Microsoft Media Center's Digital Cable Advisor sees it as HDCP enabled. This is very very annoying as it means I can't play many bluray disks directly as they fail the HDCP check.

this was written poorly.

I have 2 monitors attached. "1" is the 60" Plasma "2" is the 24" LCD

The 24" LCD is the monitor windows considers primary (i.e. start menu...)

In this configuration, the advisor (and powerdvd itself) sees hdcp on the LCD, but not on the plasma

If I disable the LCD (so only the plasma is active), it doesn't help.

However, Microsoft's digital cable advisor (which also tests for HDCP as some cable channels require it with use of a cable card) and it sees it (when only the plasma is enabled, to avoid the case where it might be testing the wrong monitor).

Hi Spotter, it's been a while already. Got any luck on this yet? Have you tried PDVD 12 and see if it makes a difference?

well i just posted this yesterday, nothing's changed for me, I dont have powerdvd 12 to test with, nor do I think it will make a difference if the cyberlink bd advisor fails.
