Powerdvd 12 Ultra Remote problem.

I am having problems using the remote free app on my HTC One X. I can punch in the passcode just fine, it finds my pc as a server just fine, but when I choose my pc, the app hangs indefinetely. Anyone else having this problem, and perhaps a solution?

same problem here with my HTC Desire.

First launch: it finds my PC, i can type the PIN code but can´t confirm. nothing is happening after typing PIN code
Second launch: it finds my PC (server), i click on it, the server in the list becomes grey and nothing is happening, i can only refresh the list

After I cleaned app data of PowerDVD Remote FREE in my phone, i was able to type the PIN again, but still can´t confirm it, only re-type or go back to servers list

I tried to disable antivirus and firewall in my PC, no luck...

It doesn't work on my Samsung Galaxy S2 running Android 4.0.3 either. It asked me once for the server pass code then it just freezes after selling the server which it sees just fine.

please provide some more info:
- used PowerDVD Version (in the about box)
- used Remote app Version

which Antivirus and or Firewall has been installed on the PC system

Hi Michael

I'm using PowerDVD 12 Ultra version 12.0.2118.57 on the computer.

The Samsung phone is running PowerDVD Remote Free version 2.0.2902. The iPad is running version 2.0.869 (7AAC7).

I believe these are the latest versions at this time.

The PC is running Windows 7 Ultimate with Microsoft Security Essentials and the Windows 7 Firewall with all current updates.

I have tried various things including all the steps listed in the FAQ. I have disabled my AV and my firewall.

I still can not get powerdvd remote to see a server.

The last Android software update seems to have resolved the problem with the phone and for whatever reason the iPad version started working properly as well.
