Here is a clip I just made using the selection mask, and carefully outlining the area. I then used the 'invert' tool and changed the background to black and white. Pretty cool effect. I am really enjoying learning new things in ColorDirector.

I'd say putting a selection mask around a spinning propeller is REALLY throwing yourself in the deep end!
