When cancelling (after starting) a burn to folder of an AVCHD DVD be prepared to wait a mighty long time for PD11 to return "Burning cancelled". And the farther into the burn the longer the wait.

The issue is that the user is not given a "Please wait" window to at least know what is happening. When delays are in the order of minutes not seconds it's the reasonable thing to do.

PD10 did not have this problem. Win 10, i7

I think you might be confusing the delay with your system reporting back to PD11 that burning has ceased and buffers are clear.

I just started the burn of a 1920x108050i AVCHD DVD at the 7% mark Hit cancel when PD11 asked me to confirm I hit the stop watch as I clicked yes..... 14 seconds later I was advised the burn was cancelled and proceeded on my way.

You owe me a blank DVD

I had this problem in PD10 and also in PD11, and it relates to the nvidia driver in my case. If you use any of the new drivers, as reported in other posts, you may well experience this problem, as well as a rendering issue. I am using 301.42 and have no problems at all. If I use anything newer I have this problem as well as the rendering issue. Intel Core i7 3770K 3.6 Ghz,

As in my other post concerning a YouTube video thing, I would cancel rendering a lot and I would snap right back to the produce window after only a second or two. ATI on my system....

I have an ATI graphics card and PD10 does NOT generate such a long delay in cancelling a burn.
