It worked for me without going full screen using iPhone 3GS, pretty cool concept I think. What better way to protect your videos or give contact info.

Thanks for the feedback, and glad it worked. You can create Qr codes with all types of info, email, link to websites plain text, so you could basically like you said copyright your videos that you don't want dsitributed freely.

Thanks for the feedback! I only have a Playbook and it isn't that good for scanning QR code (camera isn't great) it takes forever to get it right..but it does work if image is shark enough.
Well I thought it might be a good idea but wasn't positive enough on the implementation, would maybe be good for YouTube stuff..linking...or advertising your website...

Works well on a Sony Experia P using neoreader. No need to go to full screen. Actually is worked fine on the PD standard preview set to HD.

Interestingly (well maybe ) This will read a QR code with c.80% opacity on a moving background - I suspect lower opacities would work on a solid background.

I also tried to see how short an interval would work with the Sony - 5 frames was too short and 10 frames worked OK but again I suspect that will vary on conditions.

Well here is a follow up to the QR code-generator video.
There is a variety of QR code generators available APP specifically for iPhone and Playbook/Ipad etc., but the version I use for PC is an online generator (free).

This creates the QR code with the type you select (there is a variety of choice to choose email, VCard, MCard, url link and plain text), the output is also selectable, I have been using Png type but there is SVG, Jpg, PDF etc.
When I get more familiar with QR coding I will update members, as to the types and formats that you can create.
