Disabling PowerDVD 11 Update Notice?

I love PowerDVD and use it all the time. However, the prompt to update is annoying and I can't seem to disable it. I have the "Connect to" option deselected but it still rears it's ugly head.

I'm running BitDefender so is there a way to locate the update function and block it with my firewall?

Instead of blocking You'd better remove it from startup and services using msconfig tool

You can firstly disable the "Automatically connect to the internet for product information" and remove files under "C:\ProgramData\CyberLink\EvoParser\PowerDVD"
