There are many effects for titles.


Place title in timeline.
right click on the title.
select edit.....you can also click on the title, then click on modify.
near the top of the title module, there is an icon of a little man.
Click on the little man.
Now you should see 2 boxes saying begin effect and end effect.

Yeah, I checked those out. But I couldn't find a fade affect.

Oh! I looked again & found using the Wipe Down or Wipe Up work the way I want it to! I was looking for an affect called like, Fade In or Fade Out.

I have 4.0 and have entered title effects. These effect show up in the edit screen but when I run the movie in the time line, NO EFFECT is produced. I can edit the effect and the edit screen shows the change as in BALLON, but when I OK out and run in the time line, NO EFFECT is used. I do not seem to be able to change. The only way to change is to delete the effect totally and re-enter from the beginning. Is there something I can do to get these efftects to work? I have about 25 that worked and then 45 that default to the NO EFFECT no matter what I do.
