Hi, not quite a PD10 issue. But I need to embed a PD10 video I have produced into a word/ open office/PDf file. This is for a tutorial that may be emailed rather than a website page. Any help would be appreciated as we have tried for a few hours with no success.

This isn't a PD10 issue (except for the creating a video) as a video file can not be embedded into either of those file formats. If you intended to create a presentation, a wmv inserted into a powerpoint project would be applicable.

Alternatively a document file sent by email could be accompanied by a wmv video - low res and such. I do have wmv templates for email or streaming.

For example I created the 464 x 260 frame size wmv prx template some years ago specifically for my website. It has been mimicked (and the frame size used) by others, yet the one I created remains ideal for email and web streaming.

Please advise what your intent is and I'll create a specific wmv prx file for you.

PDFs can have embedded videos, but you are going to need Acrobat to do it.

You'd be amazed what can be embedded in a PDF. In a previous life my employer put 3D objects into PDFs. Jerry Schwartz

Thanks Jerry,
It's been a while since I used Acrobat... things move on.
