Current response time for activation problem queries?

Any idea as to how long customer support typically takes these days to respond to requests for help with activation errors?

From searching the threads, I've seen some complaints of 5+ days to receive responses -- but does this apply even to simple questions about correcting codec activations?

(I have some travel coming up later this week, so I would like to plan accordingly. If I shouldn't expect any response for about a week, there's no point in expecting to be able to work further on my projects before my trip.)

For what it's worth, I submitted a support ticket request yesterday
ticket number CS001156137
along with attached screenshots of the activation error message (I can't use the MPEG-2 component) and my purchase confirmation email from eBay

Hi,
Here are the CyberLink Regional Online stores,

Purchasing anywhere else is at your own risk.

Thanks for the info, dafydd.

I do hope Cyberlink will honor what seemed to be a legitimate purchase (I received what appeared to be a new disk with a security or activation code that has otherwise allowed the software to function). If Cyberlink insists on honoring purchases made exclusively through the venues listed in that link, they really should make that very clear in a prominent place on their website.

At any rate, do you have any idea how long I should expect to wait before receiving a customer support reply?

I've even considered buying yet another copy, but I am afraid that I would then have issues with trying to install a new copy over traces left from a previously installed copy -- and I'd still have to wait for customer support to help deal with that.

Just to let anyone who might be reading know, I have received a response, so response time was just under 24 hours. Not too bad.

Still not able to activate yet, but with any luck a simple solution can be found before long.
