Can I play video files in Cinema Mode?

Hi all,
I would like to use Cinema Mode to play video files like MKV and MP4 files. I really like Cinema Mode as I use it on my HTPC to play DVD and Blu-Ray however it's completely useless to me if I can't play video files. Total Media Theatre 5 offers this functionality so I'm wondering if it can be added to Power DVD 12?

Maybe somebody can tell me how to achieve what I'm after with the command-line?

Thanks for your help.

Hi,
PowerDVD CinemaMode is for BD/DVD physical Discs and BD/DVD Disc-structures only.
There is no option to playback files in the CinemaMode.

But why? I mean is it so difficult to do that for files as well?
