Best sequence for producing and burning blue ray disks

I have produced a 1080i movie file. Now I want to burn this movie to a a blue ray disk. Can I use the produced 1080i file to then produce a blue ray produced version or do I need to re-capture from the camcorder and then edit and produce in blue ray format. If both will work, which will give me the best blue ray disk?

Hi James

Yes you can.

Simply import your Produced 1080i clip into PowerDirector (at this point, right click and select properties and make a note of the settings) and go to Create Disc and select a burn profile as close to the original file as possible - to maintain quality.
