Emailing a video clip

I have a small video I created using another programme which I plan to email as an attachment. I want to trim it to remove the last 'advertising' section ... it can't be trimmed in the creating programme. You can't create these files without suffering a lot of advertising of the software. And its a fully paid for programme ... grr

I can import into PD10 and trim out what I do not need but what is the best way to 'Produce' so as not to significantly enlarge the file size. The emailed video will only be played on a pc and HD quality is not needed.

The original file details are:
Video Clip (.avi) approx 3.4Mb (but will be smaller when trimmed)
Frame width 637 & height 440 (obtained from Properties)
25 frames/sec

I must be missing a few brain cells but can't seem to solve without help.

Hi Ron

Try using the WMV profiles, I find these create the 'smallest' file size. Happing editing

Ron -

Here are some low res WMV profiles that are great for emailing. Just extract the zip file and drop the profiles (not the folder) into C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDirector10\Language\*Enu\Profiles

* or whatever language folder is appropriate
