Hi,
I have the PS3 3d monitor and I have the option of what type 3D to select. Also on my LG 3D passive 3D TV I have to select the 3d type. I have doen some small clips to check.

Looks like your monitor was not able to recognize the mode. Can you post the model number?

Hi,
I have been using cyan/magenta in power director to experiment, but in some cases it outputs 'side by side' and when viewed on my systems comes out good.
try the attached sample

I am not absolutely certain, but I believe side-by-side should work for active or passive 3D. I don't have access to an active 3D setup to test that theory. Your player and display should handle the necessary processes to display the video properly. __________________________________

Hi,
As what Jaimie-esque says burn the 3d as per PD spec and then the let the moniotr/Television select its viewing preference. I have both a Ps3-3D 24" monitor that utilizes shutter glasses, and an lg 55" 3d television that utilizes passive glasses and the 3D experiments I have done work on both. I haven't got the over/under tho' but that could be cause I am not utilizing 'true' 3d sources.
