I tot of using the youtube uploading which come with it but than it only allow 15min, but my account allow to upload up to 1hr video....

i did try to use the default youtube option to product the video but somehow it break the video and upload it without full converted.

Harky -

If you have a 35 minute video & you don't want a big file (3GB) to upload, you probably should use one of the WMV profiles.

You can do that manually - produce the WMV file, then upload through your channel - or do it through PD.

To change the YouTube limits in PD, check here http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/22465.page

What do you mean, it "broke" the video?

If you use PD's YouTube uploader, PD does two things:
1. creates the WMV file
(and when that's finished)
2. uploads it to your YouTube account.

It just NEVER starts the upload before completing rendering... so what you thought is correct.

Which exact WMV profile did you select?

EEK!

That profile is 1440x1080 - it has been known to misbehave with some members' videos.

In any case - that's not one of the YouTube uploader profiles.

Can you post a screen shot of your produce screen?

Harky -

From everything you've said I can't work out
(a) whether you're uploading to YouTube manually or through PD's YT uploader
(b) which exact profile you're selecting.

Could you please clarify?

If you're producing the video under the Standard 2D settings, the screen looks like this...

If you're using the Online > YouTube settings, the screen looks like this...

Oh ...

My video that was edit out was a 55min video.

I tried to use the PD's YT uploader, it generate out 2gb WMV with the standard of setting of

Audio: Windows Media Audio 44100Hz stereo 320kbps [Raw Audio 0]
Video: Windows Media Video 9 960x720 29.97fps 8000kbps [Raw Video 1]

and it take me 300min more to upload to youtube Is there anyway to lower the file size without losing on the quality?

Harky -

[Unless you've customised a profile, there is NO YouTube WMV profile that is 960x720 @ 8000kbps.

It sounds like you're using the Standard 2D Produce settings.]

Forget what I said... didn't realise it was a 4:3 video.

The best way to decrease the file size is to decrease the bitrate. Quality will suffer in videos containing a lot of movement.

Here's a YouTube profile with a much lower bitrate (2MBps)

Drop it in C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDirector10\Language\Enu\Profiles

It will give you a 960x720 video with a much smaller file size. Give it a try.
