Hi All,

I recently built an HTPC that runs Windows 7 Media Center. I am trying to replace the cable DVR box, the 2) Blu ray player box, and the WDTVLiveHub box with one HTPC box.

I discovered that Windows Media Center does not play Blu ray discs.

If I purchase PowerDVD12, can I play Blu ray discs from within Windows Media Center? We sit on the couch with a remote and don't want to have to switch applications to watch a movie.

Thanks for your help,

Brady

Hi BradyB,

yes - PowerDVD 12 comes with a MCE plug-in that enables BD playback from within MCE
