I cannot play Blu Rays at all, the program just freezes when I try to. I have ran BD Advisor and it passed... I am looking for a Media Center Blu Ray playback solution and am willing to purchase full version if this works...

I run a windows 7 x64 machine with a AMD Radeon HD 6670 and have a Blu Ray drive for some time which I have never used. I decided to try it out a few days ago and installed Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre which seemed a bit buggy and could not get bitstreaming DTS-HD to work so I uninstalled and tried Power DVD 12 Trial. However playback will not start and the program hangs every time I attempt to play a Blu Ray disc. I have tried disabling Aero and 3d to no avail. I also have Shark007 Codec pack installed for use within Media Center. Have no idea why the program refuses to work.

Hi Morphy,

strongly suggest not to use "Shark007 Codec" - some versions I saw ship with old codecs and make PowerDVD not working anymore.
