PowerDVD Cinema Command Line

I've been using PowerDVD for a while now due to its superiority in playback quality compared to other commercially available players. I am VERY excited about the new features, especially folder structure playback from cinema mode. It works great to select the movie folders from the program interface. However, I use MyMovies to select from all the movies in my library, and it doesn't appear that there is currently a way to pass folder paths to PowerDVDCinema12 via command line in order to initiate playback. This is the one thing that is still lacking in order to complete the perfect movie experience. Could you please consider adding this feature in the near future? Thanks!

I put in the same request earlier but you did it much more eloquently. Congrats. Hopefully Michael will read this and add it. you might also consider making this request to Support.

I did the same. This issue is a non-starter for me too (I use Cinemar's DVDLobby to launch DVDs and Blu-Rays from folders).

So Mike are you saying that Cinemar's DVDLobby enables you to have 12 playback BDMV folders from its interface?

No, I am saying that since this functionality is broken in PowerDVD 12, I can no longer use DVDLobby. Same issue that folks are having with MyMovies apparently.

For what it's worth, I put in a request to CyberLink tech support explaining the fact that it worked fine in 11 and does not in 12. I got back an answer that essentially told me that it doesn't work in 12... which was the whole point of my question.

So, I put in another one asking if they plan on fixing the functionality. I'll post here if I get a meaningful response, though I kind of doubt it. Hopefully though if enough people ask, eventually they will do a patch. Otherwise, at least for me personally, I just spent $50 on an "upgrade" that was a downgrade since automation is a must for me.

Yea I spent $100 for 12 and did not get the definitive answer from the My Movies forums until the 30 days had run out. I like you have gotten the same useless answers from the tech support. IMO Cyberlink's tech support is 100% useless. I had hoped that Michael would have responded to this post or mine but that has not happened as of yet.
