Hi

I have home samsung 3DTV with active glasses. I have installed powerdvd 11 ultra to watch bluray disk from laptop on my 3DTV. Unfortunately . It didnt work. I checked a lot of forums and people had the same problem like me. If I wanted to play 3d bluray on TV . It appeared "Device not supported" or something like that although I had 1.4 hdmi and my 3D TV supports 1.4. My graphic card is Nvidia geforce 105M . I have installed the newest driver.

My question is if powerdvd 12 can play 3d bluray on samsung 3dtv

thank you

Hi,
what settings do you use in PowerDVD 3D settings page?

It does work. You should go to NVIDIA's control panel, run the Stereoscopic 3D wizard, keep Stereo 3D enabled, and then in PowerDVD select "HDMI 1.4 3D TV" as the preferred output.

Enabling 3D vision under start menu -> Nvidia worked for me

However if Im going to watch a 2D movie in Media Player Classic Home Cinema it automatically goes to 3D aswell... Disabling 3D vision solves this. However I don't want to keep enabling and disabling this based on if it is a 2D or 3D movie. I want to watch 2D movies in 2D and 3D movies in 3D. Is there a better solution?

Using GTX 680 with WHQL driver 301.10 under windows 7 SP1 X64. AMP: Hegel H100, DAC: Hegel HD2, Speakers: Tannoy Revolution Signature DC6T, TV: Samsung PS63C7705 (pn63c8000) 63", HTPC: NVIDIA GTX 680, Windows 7 SP1 x64 with blu-ray

I have a 680 latest drivers and Windows 8 x64 and have the exact same problem.

Nvidia is a nightmare, a cheaper AMD 6450 switched to 3D perfect when told to.
Enabling and disabling 3D vision is just annoying and it also makes your desktop in 3D too so it's not working as it should in my opinion.
