Sorry for my english, hope its fine!

i'm trying powerdvd 12 and i like a lot!!!!!
i'm trying to use powedvd remote but dont work...sure i'm not so
expert about configure the PC side....

My OS is windows 7 professional 64 bit.

I'm trying with a Edimax Wireless N Access Point (model: EW-7416APN)

I set it as AP and i enabled the DHCP service and then
installed the powerdvd remote App on my iphone.

I see that the OS say that the lan its not connected on internet,
but i think this is ok, i think....

I find the SSID of the Access Point, but when i try to connect it wont let me connect....

dunno if i set the access point correctly! *sigh*
Someone can help me to configure it?

another thing...

the processes that i have to check are the same of the powerdvd 11???

PDV11Serv.exe
PowerDVD.exe
PowerDVD11.exe
CLHNServiceForPowerDVD.exe
CLMSMonitorService.exe
CLMSMoitorService.exe

thank a lot,
hope someone can give me a hand!
bye

I actually think this maybe an issue with this version, as with 11 I was able to use this app, I'm no longer able to either and I'm pretty good with IT equipment (work in the Industry)

the only 2 things that have changed with this for me are

PowerDVD 11 to 12

Samsung galaxy S2 running gingerbread to ICS (beta, yes i know..however nothing else has an issue and it worked with 11)

So I'm having the same issue with andriod, to be honest I've had so much more trouble with 12 than i had with 11

Yes I think its the same issue, with 11 it found the name of my PC when searching, for some reason with 12 it doesnt, quite annoying

Installed services and running

CyberlinkpowerDVD 12 media Server service
CyberlinkpowerDVD 12 media server monitor service
CLHNServiceforpowerdvd12

Exe's running with powerdvd12 open (i think i have them all, as theres loads!)

powerdvd12.exe
powerdvd12.exe
powerdvd12agent.exe
powerdvd12ml.exe
powerdvdv12DMREngine.ex
CLHNServiceforpowerdvd12
CLMSServerPDVD12.exe
CLMSmonitorservicePDVD12.exe

hope this helps, do you have a friend that has a andriod device? I would add that to your wireless and elimate a issue with the phone maybe? just to rule that out too. I take it your iphone is connected okay wirelessly to your home network?

thx whitehart for your help.
I'll check if all is ok under running services!

I'll try with a android device also.
all i want to do is configure a "simple" network between
my htpc and my iphone, no internet. Only my computer and my iphone connected with wifi and "no internet".

Cause i need only to use power dvd remote to control
power dvd 12. no internet.

Hope this help!

I'm not so good to configure the access point so i'm reading something around...sigh!

If someone is so kind to point me in the right direction, where i can read more about how to configure my access
point....this'd be great and i can say only THX A LOT!

hope in someone,
bye and thx again!
