Hi All

Why is it that some MP3's will not play in the Media Room BUT when you put them in the timeline they do?

I've tested them in PD8 and they all work fine. Is this a PD10 anomaly?

Weird

Any thoughts

P.S. WAV's work perfectly Happing editing

Best Regards

Neil

I can't answer that, but in PD9 I had trouble with certain MP3's. I think Carl said it was related to bitrate. Maybe that is still an issue. __________________________________

The MP3 files I place on my PD10 timeline sound distorted, so I convert them to wave files, which work fine.

Guys -

You've touched on an issue that plagued me all the way through PD9... I tried everything... then one day I read this - http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/20707.page#109776 - and the problem has been gone ever since.

I can't explain it. I just know it fixed the problem, on my PC at least.

Cheers - Tony

I am on a 32-bit system, but it also appears that PD10 no longer exhibits the behavior that gave me problems in PD9. __________________________________

Tony,
I've just Bookmarked the thread and John's input. The mp3 issue has been around awhile. I missed seeing/reading that thread over the Christmas Holiday period. Glad you remembered it.
