How to enable TrueTheater?

Hi !!!!

I am new to PowerDirector10. Have old standard definition 4:3 videos I took and would like to experiment and enhance them.

Is there an on/off switch to enable/disable TrueTheater? if so, where is it located?

I have experimented with the Enhance/Fix tools and the results I get are equal or worse compared to the original video.

Any suggestion pointing me in the right direction will be appreciated.

Looks like you found it, TrueTheater is the Fix/Enhance > Enhance > Video Enhancement function.

Thanks Jeff,

Do you know if TrueTheater (Fix/Enhance) is restricted to certain types of videos (AVI, MPG2, MOV, etc.) ?

If yes, what kind of videos? 2D or 3D?

If not, can you point me to guidelines and/or best practices to use the fix/enhance tools?

Thanks

Ed

The features work quite well in many, but not all, circumstances. Rescue of old analog video is a good example. True Theatre can work well there.
Experimenting with that feature set is best, using different combinations, when it pleases your eye, you're done! HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
Nvidia GTX 960(4GB)/16GB DDR3/
Canon Vixia HV30/HF-M40/HF-M41/HF-G20/Olympus E-PL5.
Tape capture using 6 VCR, TBC-1000, Elite BVP4+, Sony D8 camcorder with TBC.

This is a good example...taken at sunrise, still quite dark out.
HF-20 at XP bitrate and 30p 1920x1080.
With PD ...
White balance/saturation/sharpen/stabilize/denoise/lighting
Also gamma FX and Neutral Density FX.

What do you think?

note: it sounds a little funny because I didn't mute one of the videos.
